Tim's Write up

Ok. i just got my ASRA mag and inside is a great write up form Tim about the stuff that went on, now it is out there for every one to read, what the hell has gone on, i heard about 2 guys getting baned for a while , but no idea of all the other stuff that went on.

Brian, i will certainly be doing that to get another story of what happened "OBVIOUSLY"

Well after a few private emails from certain people, all i can get my fingers to type is, even if half of what i got in front of me is true, then holy crap,,,,,,,, there is a lot of please explains to be asked of certain people with in the ASRA board, and i am not too comfortable with what could and might happen if(when) some of this stuff comes out, why is it that when people get to a certain level of authourity within certain organisations they seem to think they can make/break laws ect, to suit themselves and THEIR long term plans.

I fear this is gonna get worse before it gets better, damn i hope we dont go back to the dark ages and have to start again, to get respect and reconition form all other types of aviation..

Hi Bones, sorry, I'm not home at the moment, be a week or so then back home.

It is a very sad saga of something that should not have come to pass. I have said a bit about it but its dificult on a puter to put it in the proper perspective it deserves. There are many things that we as members of ASRA should be aware of, I'm pleased to say that at long last, some are realizing that there is a problem. I also believe that the problem can be fixed but its going to take a bit to fix it !!

Part of the problem is not having new board members every so often. We are all busy and have other things more important to us and 'hey,' things arent that bad are they ?? Well, sorry, yes they are and we as members have helped by not throwing our hat into the ring and been prepared to take a job. As a consequence we have continually voted for the same faces and its sad to say but at least one board member should not have been on the board for some time.

Anyway, as far as the 2 TA's suspension, I guess the best way to see how much credence that held is to look at the Operations manager's decision on the matter. I feel that had this cowardly attack on Tim and Rosco had been done when Allan was in the country, a lot of this would have been taken care of quickly and with a lot less bad feeling. BUT, the person who launched this attack is unrepentent and has said publicly that they would do the same again and I have no doubts about that.
I have heard first hand how this person thinks and its scary given that this person is a board member.
