Cracked hubbar?

Ok I do have a guestion about all these hubbar failures.
I have read that the falures are on the heaverier machines and working machines.So my guestion is, are the falures on the longer or shorter hubbars? And are the blades on the offinding hubbars very stiff?
Just tryin to figger it out.

I had that thought myself.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see as no one has said whether they are the newer heavier blades or lighter type, or what length of hub bar was involved ....

or what use they have been put through in their lifetime? The relationship between the lift generated and the weight carried, and the type of flying carried out will all be critical to the harmonic wave that the hubbars suffer from. One can only hope that the information relevant to each failure is collated and wiser heads get to wrap their minds around the issue.
